The initial reason we decided upon Morocco was because owners of Love Yoga, Kyle & Sian, were hosting a yoga retreat near Agadir, and we figured we could make an epic trip of it. (Notice there is no post on the retreat, because conditions were less than ideal, and that is all I'll say about that. Please note that the yoga was absolutely fantastic, and that I will most likely never return to Tagazhout.)
Thank goodness we arranged a stay at the Four Seasons Casablanca on our last night, to make up for what felt like mildly slumming it, only in comparison to our previously lavish accommodations. From the moment we entered the grandeur lobby of the Four Seasons, and walked out onto the balcony overlooking the ocean, I felt, once more, like the Moroccan Princess I always knew i was destined to be.
Medhi, the AHMAZING general manager was an absolute charmer. He was cordial and professional and sweet all at the same time. When you go, make sure to ask for him.
Although we only stayed for 1 night, (one night in Casablanca, doesn't it sounds so romantic? it was...) we made sure to enjoy it like the royalty we are manifesting to be. We enjoyed the brand new equipment in the gym, and soaked in the bathtub that could easily fit 3. We watched movies and ordered room service, and lounged by the pool. It was the perfect way to end our trip. We traveled to 6 cities in 2 weeks, and I would eagerly do it all again.
